I prefer to use natural light where available and I love to capture children in their own, comfortable environment, being themselves. My style is candid and natural.

I am based in Dunsborough, in the South West of WA, and will happily travel within a 50km radius at no extra cost. (Please contact me for travel outside this area)

Please, take your time to look around this blog, which is dedicated to sneak peaks of client sessions, my photography ramblings and the occasional special. For information on my products and prices, please visit my website at lizmphotography.net

Photo a day - day 4… Auskick

I think the title speaks for itself. Although, I do have 2 photo’s for today. One is of E playing auskick, and the other is of T playing around while watching.img_0937pad-july4

Photo a day - day 3… After school fun

Last day of school today for term 3. This is E’s favourite thing to do and unwind after school… play the wii. I love the look on his face when playing, he concentrates so hard, and pulls some funny faces. So today’s photo is 3 in 1, as I couldn’t resist the faces on him lol.untitled-11

Photo a day - day 2. Caught in the act

I was in the laundry, when I heard the fridge door open and then some ruffling about. I went in to find T sitting on the floor, having helped himself to a juice box, and was then managing to open it all by himself. I have to say, he’s getting very clever and very independent. He won’t let me do anything for him anymore, he has do it all by himself.img_0907

Photo a day - day 1

We were up and organized early for today’s Photo. We have finally got some sunshine after around a month of rain. It was so nice to get outside, and I think little T enjoyed being out of the house for a change too.

Meaghan Cook - My kids hate being cooped up in winter too. Love his boots! Sweet shots.

kirsten - I love winter but I tell you I can't wait for spring to get outside everyday!!! Love the boots. My son wont wear them this year? But I have some!

22 weeks self portrait

O.k, so I’m really  nervous about putting these photos on here, but only because they are of me!!! I decided that seeing as this is baby number 3 and I have no photos of me pregnant with the other two, and none with this one so far, that I would ‘attempt’ some self portraits of me and my belly.

So this is me, and my big belly at 22 weeks.

Jayne - You are looking just lovely Liz. Pregnancy obviously agrees with you. Great self portraits. My favs are the first two.

Jenny J - Great shots Liz you take great photos

It’s been a long long time..

Since I updated my blog. The reason being, I am pregnant with number 3 and it has been a bit of a struggle getting this far. I am now 22 weeks.

I am starting to feel human again, and along with that comes the need or want to take photos again. My poor camera hasn’t had a good workout for a while. I had a bit of fun with the boys on the weekend, and then today with little T. It felt so good having that camera in my hands again, now all I need is break in the rain so we can go somewhere nice and do some pics.

I have decided that a good way to get back into the swing of things is to do a photo a day for July. Now that I have mentioned it on here, I must stick to it lol. So my blog should be updated regularly again, well, at least during July anyway!!

This little storyboard I put together of little T, it is to dedicate the end of his dummy usage… well, I’m hoping anyway. He is very attached to it, but it is one of the things I need to tackle before the next one arrives.dummy-sb1I look forward to sharing more photos and more fun.

This is just a quick sneak peak for a friend of mine. She has 3 beautiful girls and the youngest just turned one. I hope you enjoy the sneak peak and I will get the rest to you soon :)

Dummies galore

Little T woke up from his sleep today and I opened the door to find him trying to hold Igglepiggle, a Thomas coathanger and about 8 dummies!! I don’t know where they all came from as he only went to bed with 2, but it was hilarious watching him trying to hold on to all of those things. He just couldn’t as his hands were too little, but he was giving it a good try.

img_0321I can count 5 dummies in this picture, but there were also a few more under Igglepiggle. He managed in the end to hold onto everything, only to run into the kitchen and dump the lot on the floor lol.

Melissa - hahahahah tristan and those dummies! he's looking at you like "what?" haha

whint - Oh this is soooo my D-Man.... he loves his dummy too...and will hoard them... love that look... classic!

6 Years old today

My eldest E is 6 today. Where has the time gone?? He is so grown up now, at school and it seems to have just flown by.

Here he is at 3 months old

And today (well last night actually, before bed)

Happy birthday my little man.

Naomi - Happy Birthday little man! Loving your blog background too babe x

Haven’t the last few days been fun…

That was with my sarcastic voice!  Little T hasn’t been feeling too good this week and it’s been really hard trying to get anything done. One minute he is happy and the next sooky and whingy. It is really driving me insane, but the poor little guy, he can’t help it. These pics show his moods. From happy and fun to moody.

And today has been the worst, miserable all day, except for these few minutes when we were making his brothers cupcakes to take to school for his birthday, and I let him lick the beater… awww, that was my favourite pastime too.

storyboard-tristanI hope your all having a better week. :)
